The Coatimundi of Costa Rica

As we puttered around Costa Rica in our rental car I gazed out the window searching for wildlife in the trees. We saw monkeys, sloths, exotic birds, raccoons and other tropical creatures. It wasn’t until we were parked on the side of the street that we had our closest encounter with the most adorable and inquisitive animals we had come across yet, Coatimundis.
